OLD CHIMNEYS is a craft brewery started in 1995 by Alan Thomson, a Master Brewer with 30 years experience. All our products are made from highest quality raw materials, most locally sourced.
In addition to our 12 regular beers, we brew occasional special ales and make three bottle conditioned ciders.
Our brewery shop stocks all of our bottled products, which are all suitable for vegetarians. Draught beer is available in 9 gallon firkins and 8, 17 or 34 pint polypins, and should be ordered in advance.
WINNER of numerous awards - including Overall Champion at the
Norwich Beer Festival and (twice) at the Cambridge Winter Festival.
AWARDED a rosette for consistent high quality in the Good Bottled Beer Guide, with star ratings given to four individual beers. On this basis, Old Chimneys is one of the top three bottle conditioned beer brewers in Britain.
