OLD CHIMNEYS is a craft brewery started in 1995 by Alan Thomson, a Master Brewer with over 30 years experience. All our products are made from highest quality raw materials, most locally sourced.
In addition to our 14 regular beers, we brew occasional special ales and make two bottle conditioned ciders.
Most of our beers are named after rare species found nearby.
Our brewery shop stocks all of our bottled products, which are all suitable for vegetarians, and we give a 10% discount per case of 12. Draught beer is available in 9 gallon firkins and 8, 17 or 34 pint polypins, and should be ordered in advance.
WINNER of numerous awards - including Overall Champion at the
Norwich Beer Festival and (twice) at the Cambridge Winter Festival.
AWARDED a rosette for consistent high quality in the Good Bottled Beer Guide, with star ratings given to three individual beers.
Featured in Rick Stein’s book the “GUIDE TO THE FOOD HEROES
OF BRITAIN”
